A Letter From Our President
Spring has sprung and it’s a time to enjoy all the fresh new sights! Trees are turning green once again, bright colored flowers are popping up around us, and the days are getting longer. We have been busy bees, planning and organizing. Our Programing and Education Teams have worked hard to plan many activities and classes for the months ahead. Keep an eye out for updates with more specific information.
Exhibits have been keeping us on our toes. If you’re wondering what exhibits are next, a schedule of upcoming exhibiting opportunities can be found at the bottom of the “Call For Art” page on our website. You can check out the Exhibits Currently on display in the online galleries on our website. And remember to check out First Friday Gallery Hop and Art Crush on the 3rd Friday to help support our Art Partners.

Benton Convention Center: An Incredible Showcase For Your Art
The Benton Convention Center is working in partnership with Associated Artists of Winston-Salem to present a series of curated fine art exhibitions that will be on display at the Benton Convention Center, Salem Foyer. All active members of Associated Artists are invited to submit up to 6 works for consideration, but the juried selection will be limited to no more than 4 pieces each. Artwork will be selected from submitted jpg images by a committee of AAWS jurors. All work will be considered, but this space is an excellent opportunity for very large 2D work which may not always be practical and allowed in other exhibits. Depending on size, 15 to 25 works may be selected.

Artist Spotlight: Sean Kammerlohr
We are excited to announce the fourth in our Artist Spotlight series, where we regularly feature a story or interview highlighting a local artist and member.
We are thrilled to introduce Sean Kammerlohr. We learned a ton about his unique art journey, what inspires and drives him, and maybe a little something you didn't know about this talented guy!

Don't Miss A Chance To Network With Other Local Artists
Our monthly Artist Meetup happens the third Sunday of every month! Join us on April 21st at Broad Branch Distillery in downtown Winston-Salem from 1-4pm.
Last month we invited artists to make and bring ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) to swap with one another. If you were unable to make it or have some extras laying around, bring them! You never know who might want to do an ATC swap.
Discuss possible collaborations, promote current projects, get inspiration, and dive in deeper to the WSNC art scene. This is a local artist networking event that you won't want to miss. We can't wait to see you!
