‿︵‿︵‿୨   SELL YOUR ART! ୧‿︵‿︵‿

Note that as a member of the Associated Artists, your art is featured in TWO stores online. One is on our website, which only highlights art currently on display in exhibitions. The other is on our LinkTree which is attached to AAWS social media accounts. The LinkTree store features about 6 pieces at a time and cycles every week. This is also only work that is currently in Exhibitions.

Members, feel free to promote these stores as a way for patrons to buy your work! And, if you'd like your art up in the store - enter one of our upcoming exhibitions today!

CALL FOR ART: Music, like art, is a central part of our lives. Let the music flow through you and into your artwork!

Photography of an instrument, collage including sheet music, painting of a violin, painting inspired by a favorite song or artist, or whatever musical piece you can create. Enter your music-based art below!

In this course, students will learn;

  • Increase their vocabulary of color including learning the differences between hue, chroma, and value
  • Learn to mix paint to vary the characteristics of color for design and evaluation purposes.
  • Understand color relationships and color schemes.

This class is useful for beginners, established artists, and anyone in between.

 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT

Our EIGHTH installment to our Associated Artists Spotlight series, we are excited to introduce Judi Russell.

A cornerstone and dedicated member of our organization for over 20 years, Judi's personal mission is uncovering new ways to create. Living in Winston for almost 60 years, she worked at Piedmont Airlines, Hanes Hosiery, Bali, and Wachovia, before starting her own advertising agency, The Russell Agency.

We love her whimsical, colorful art and have been keeping a close eye on her pear series (check one out below her headshot)!
