A NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT:

Welcome to Summer! Hopefully, you can get some relief from this heat and enjoy your creative passions.

What a wonderful turnout we had at the Annual Meeting! I want to thank everyone who made it such a success by showing up with your smiling faces and delicious food. And thanks for being good sports and participating in the spaghetti and marshmallow icebreaker activity. It was so fun watching everyone build their structures while laughing, playing, and being silly.

This last fiscal year was a crazy busy year but, we accomplished so much. It’s an exciting time, with the increase in memberships, exhibits, and activities. There’s no doubt the momentum of this organization is full steam ahead! In the last year, we had:

  • 14 Exhibitions
  • 83 New, Returning Members for a total of 174
  • 17 Events
  • and added two new community Exhibition spaces.

 What do we have planned for the coming year? Let’s see…

The Benton Convention Center is changing it's walls once again, and we need your art!

This is a good opportunity for large scale works that don't fit in our other galleries. Plus, this exhibition is running through October... a great opportunity to pull out those Autumn landscapes!

★ ARTIST SPOTLIGHT 

Jack of All Trades, Affee Vickers is unique to the Associated Artists because he works with many different mediums including oil paintings, woodwork, glass, copper and stainless steel. Beyond his genius in engineering and fabrication, Affee charms us with his soft-spoken, humble and inquisitive nature. Read more about his journey through art and life at the link below!
